I am a 40 year old eclectic mother of three from the Pioneer Valley in Western Massachusetts. I work as a homebirth midwife, Reiki practitioner, lay homeopath, teacher and web designer. For the past 10 years I have been the director and a teacher for a local Waldorf inspired homeschool group called Community Home School. I am director of the WomanCraft Midwifery Education program which provides workshops and academic studies for student midwives.
I am a huge science fiction and fantasy fan, play RPGs and love sci-fi movies and TV shows. I love to read books....all kinds of books. I even enjoy reading midwifery and physics textbooks. My favorite authors are Raymond Feist and RA Salvatore. (Yes! I'm a geek and damn proud of it.) I also enjoy hiking, singing, cooking, being in nature, painting and working with children.
My partner of 17 years, Kevin, is also my very best friend. He is a tech guru and runs the MIS department for the town of Belchertown. My children are Indigo age 16, Jadziah age 13 and Atreyu age 11. They are three of my favorite people on the planet. As a family we spend a lot of time playing games, hiking, camping and going on adventures.
