Midwife, CPM, Reiki Master

I am the mother of three beautiful children, all born at home with midwives, a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), Midwifery Instructor, Certified American AquaNatal Instructor, Reiki Master/Teacher, lay homeopath and Children's Yoga Instructor (RCYP).I am Healthcar Provider CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation certified and regularly attend workshops, conferences and other continuing education opportunities. I have has been attending homebirths since 1994 and in private practice in the Pioneer Valley since 2001. I have had the opportunity to attended homebirths, birth center births, hospital births and has traveled over seas to work in two Jamaican hospitals and a rural clinic.For the last 10 years I have been the director and lead teacher of the WomanCraft Midwifery Education Program. This program offers academic study programs and workshop for aspiring midwives. For the last 8 years I have been the facilitator for a Waldorf inspired cooperative called "Community School" in Amherst, MA. I have hosted numerous individual classes and workshops for children and parents. In addition to my work in midwifery, I am deeply involved in natural parenting and living, homeschooling, Waldorf education, women's issues, feminism, earth spirituality and community activism.

Erzulia Madrone, Assistant Midwife
Erzulia is the mother of a beautiful teenage daughter, an aspiring midwife and midwife's assistant.She is CPR/First aid certified. Erzulia has completed the WomanCraft Midwifery Education program, several midwifery workshops and a year of apprenticeship. She regularly attends local midwifery meetings, workshops and other continuing education opportunities. Her many interests include women's health, writing, art and hiking.
