Reiki is an ancient laying on of hands touch healing system. All living things are made of energy. This energy is our life force. In Japan the energy is termed Ki. It is from this word Reiki is named. Reiki energy heals the whole person and acts on many levels; emotional, physical, mental and spiritual. All of us have this energy within us. We hold the power to heal ourselves. Reiki sessions open up a person's chakras and allow the energy to run freely again through the body. Most people experience Reiki healing as very relaxing, warm and comforting. Reiki energy acts in subtle yet powerful ways to allow a person to heal themselves.
Reiki-Ma focuses on awakening the bodies own inner healing ability. Reiki means "life energy" and "Ma" is derived from the concept of "self" or "Goddess within". Reiki-Ma incorporates energy sensing, Chakra work and Reiki to tune in to your body and move towards a state of balance and wholeness.

Reiki I Classes
Learn Reiki techniques for self-healing and healing your friends and loved ones, basic hand positions for reiki, and the history of reiki. . It is recommended that students purchase the text Essential Reiki by Diane Stein and read the sections of history of Reiki and Reiki I. Fee $100.
Reiki II Classes
Advanced healing work for self and others, distance healing and second-degree reiki symbols. We will also discuss the basics of energy systems, chakras and body systems. It is recommended that students purchase the text Essential Reiki by Diane Stein and read the sections of history of Reiki through Reiki II. Prerequisite: previous Reiki I training. $100.
Reiki Master, Reiki III teacher training - held for advanced students by appointment only
Reiki for Kids (and parents too) - .this is a parent/child class recommended for ages 5 - 9. Children and parents will learn about Reiki and energy, basic hand positions for self healing and healing family members. practice Reiki sessions and each parent and child will receive a Reiki I attunement. Location TBA. Instructors: Beth Anne Moonstone/Indigo Moonstone. Fee: $50.
Reiki for Teens (and parents too) - .this is a class for teens and parents that wish to accompany them. The class is recommended for ages 19-15. Teens and parents will learn about Reiki and energy, basic hand positions for self healing and healing family members. practice Reiki sessions and each teen will receive a Reiki I attunement. Reiki I for New or Expecting Parents - Learn Reiki techniques for self-healing and healing your loved ones, basic hand positions for reiki, and the history of reiki. . This class put a special focus on Reiki for newborns and the postpartum period. Deepening Your Practice Reiki-Ma/Chakra Energywork - . developing daily practice, healing as ritual, Reiki meditations, sound vibrations, Chakras, Kundalini, moving Energy and breathe work. Prerequisite Reiki I certification. Location TBA. Fee $50.
